British Royal News suggests that it’s been quite some time since fans have heard from Meghan Markle’s most vocal critic: her estranged sister, Samantha Markle. In fact, many royal fans can’t help but wonder if Samantha has disappeared from the headlines mostly because of Meghan Markle’s court battle with their father, Thomas Markle Sr. and a handful of British tabloids. For the longest time, it seemed as though a day didn’t go by that Samantha Markle didn’t take the opportunity to slam her estranged sister for one reason or another. After Prince Harry and Meghan Markle announced that they would be stepping down from their roles as full-time senior and working members of the royal family, Samantha slammed them for being self-serving.

But now that Harry and Meghan have settled into their new lives in Los Angeles, many royal fans have noticed that Samantha Markle has been rather quiet lately even though her estranged sister is now closer to her than ever before. As many royal observers can recall, Samantha had actually made a trip to London in 2019 to deliver a letter to her sister Meghan in the hopes that she would finally pick up the phone and call her so they can iron out their issues. So far that hasn’t happened.
Now, whether or not Samantha Markle makes her way to Los Angeles to see Harry and Meghan remains to be seen. But for now it looks like she’s being very careful about what she says in regards to the Duke and Duchess of Sussex. Of course, that can change at any time, too. So far Meghan herself has not made any comments about her relationship with her estranged family members or if she plans to reach out to them anytime soon.
