While Prince Harry and Meghan Markle had no issues attending Princess Eugenie’s wedding to Jack Brooksbank back in 2018, the circumstances now are a little different. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex – who still retain their titles as of press time – have announced that they are stepping down from their roles as senior members of the monarchy. The announcement sent shockwaves on both sides of the pond, as it was certainly unexpected. In fact, Queen Elizabeth herself even hinted that she was disappointed in Harry and Meghan’s decision to quit the royal family as she was hoping that they would stay on.

With that said, there have also been reports of a rift between Prince Harry and his brother, Prince William. What’s more, it doesn’t appear as though Kate Middleton is showing her support for the Sussexes, either. Should Prince Harry and Meghan Markle attend Princess Beatrice’s upcoming wedding, it will definitely put the focus back on them and all of the troubles that the royals have been dealing with behind palace doors. If they don’t show up to the wedding, it will also look like they are not only distancing themselves from the royal cousins, but also failing to show their support as well.
So far Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have not made any comments about their future, but the Queen did say in her statement that they will be splitting their time between London and Canada.
