British Royal Family News says that Prince George will have yet another reason to give his younger sister Princess Charlotte a side eye. That’s because there’s a good chance that Charlotte might return back to school as early as June 1st, seeing how the United Kingdom is looking to put some primary-aged children back to school only if the ongoing public health emergency that is the coronavirus doesn’t worsen by then. Here’s what you need to know.
According to reports, the British government is looking to put three year groups back to school on a voluntary basis before the school year officially ends. That means Princess Charlotte would be going back to Thomas’ School in Battersea while her older brother Prince George would have to wait until at least the fall before heading back inside the classroom again.

However, Princess Charlotte will only go to school if Prince William and Kate Middleton deem it safe enough to allow their daughter to be with her friends again. The entire royal family, including Queen Elizabeth, Prince Charles, Camilla Parker Bowles and more have been sheltering-in-place at Windsor Castle and their private estates in Balmoral Castle for the last several weeks now. In fact, all of the official royal engagements lately have taken place over video chatting apps like Zoom. Seeing how many members of the firm are older than 65 years of age, the royal family doesn’t want to take any chances when it comes to the coronavirus. In fact, there’s a very good chance that the citizens of the United Kingdom might not see Queen Elizabeth for many long months to come.
So far Buckingham Palace has not made any comments about Princess Charlotte and her schooling or if Prince William and Kate Middleton plan on letting her return back to the classroom.
