British Royal Family News suggests that it might be a very long time before anyone sees a member of the royal family, let alone some of the youngest ones. As a matter of fact, many royals have decided to clear their calendars while others have remained rather quiet as the entire world prepares to go on lockdown in order to avoid the spread of the novel coronavirus. To date, the coronavirus has infected over 162,000 people worldwide and has killed 6,000 people in over 107 countries, with half of them being in China. In the UK, the death toll is rising, just as it is in many other countries throughout the European continent.

While Queen Elizabeth has cleared her calendar of her royal engagements and public appearances for the week, both Prince William and Kate Middleton have been very quiet. The couple have actually kicked it up a notch in their work load ever since Prince Harry and Meghan Markle decided to throw in the towel in royal life. But with many people staying home and practicing social distancing, there’s a strong possibility that the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge might follow suit. In fact, they might even take this as an opportunity to stay away from the spotlight while spending more time with their three children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis.
With many schools across the UK and around the world closing their doors for the next several weeks, there’s also a chance that George and Charlotte might be forced to stay home as well. Seeing how the royals are used to shaking hands everywhere they go, this is a practice that they will curb, if not halt immediately in the hopes that they don’t catch the virus themselves.
