She is over all the chaos that has ensued ever since Prince Harry and Meghan Markle threw the entire British Royal Family under the bus in their tell-all interview with Oprah. Here’s what you need to know.
There’s a new report that says Queen Elizabeth doesn’t want “family drama” this late in her reign. This comes after Prince Harry revealed that he currently has rather tense relationships with both his father, Prince Charles, and his brother, Prince William.
British Royal Family News: Queen Elizabeth Doesn’t Want You To Talk About Her Family Drama
While the Queen’s public statement might have sounded like she is supportive of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, behind closed doors she is feeling rather unhappy over the drama.
“What she won’t want is family conflict at this stage of her reign,” they said.
To make things even more difficult, Queen Elizabeth was forced to face the fallout of the interview on her own, as her husband Prince Philip, had spent the most part of last month in the hospital.
The insider told People Magazine, “She is always head of the country and Prince Philip was always head of the family. He is not there to be that — so everything is falling on to her shoulders. It must be an incredibly lonely place to be.”
In a public statement after Harry’s interview, the queen said that her grandson, Meghan and their son Archie, “will always be much loved family members,” though she seemingly disputed claims of racism but admitted that they are “taken very seriously and will be addressed by the family privately.”
