British Royal Family News finds that it was an unusual Easter weekend for the royal family, as there was no Sunday service for the family to attend. As well as that, with all the royals in self-isolation, there was no family time to be had over the long weekend. Prince William used the time over the weekend to contact charity workers to thank them for their efforts during the current pandemic.

The prince and Kate Middleton have been consistently calling people throughout their time in self-isolation as they look to unite the country and keep spirits high. Last week, Kate was joking with one of the key workers as she admitted that Prince William has a sweet tooth.

Prince William called a charity worker on Sunday to tell them that they were doing a ‘fantastic job’. He admitted that he was impressed with the work that the Moorlands Community Charity were still doing despite the ongoing pandemic.

He admitted that the current mentality of people in the face of this crisis makes him proud to be British. During the afternoon of calls, he spoke to various people that receive funding from the National Emergencies Trust. William is the first patron of the charity and has been spending his time video calling employees over the past couple of weeks.

Prince William admitted during the chat on video, that he strangely believes that Britain is strongest when their back is against the wall in times of crisis. He also asked workers how they were doing during the pandemic, and gave out virtual high-fives.

There will likely be more video calls for the prince this week, as last week they also spoke to teachers and pupils at Burnley Primary School. Kate and William’s efforts at building morale haven’t been in vain over the past number of weeks, with fans full of praise for the couple.
