British royal family news has found that Prince William and Kate Middleton are among the royal family members that have sent birthday messages to Captain Tom Moore this week. Moore has been working tirelessly over the past number of weeks as he bids to raise money for the National Health Service in the United Kingdom to celebrate his 100th birthday.

The hero celebrated his landmark birthday on Thursday, and to top off a wonderful day for Moore, it was revealed that he had surpassed the £31 million mark in his charity effort. The funds that he has raised will be going towards the NHS Charities Together fund. His special day was even marked by the traditional letter from the Queen that is sent to everybody that turns 100.
