Even though the CDC suggests that everyone must adhere to the strict social distancing guidelines, both Prince Harry and Meghan Markle were photographed almost shoulder-to-shoulder with other volunteers while they were helping to prepare meals for the homeless this week. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex volunteered with Homeboy Industries this week, which is a Los Angeles based nonprofit that employs former gang members and other individuals trying to rebuild their lives. Both Harry and Meghan were on hand to help assist bakery and café workers in preparing food as part of the #FeedHope initiative for the community.

British Royal Family News: Prince Harry Caught Not Social Distancing While Preparing Meals For Charity In L.A.
However, many royal critics noticed right away that it didn’t appear as though Harry and Meghan kept six feet away from everyone. During their roundtable conversation with the charity organizers and community leaders, Prince Harry put aside the quarantine rules and comforted one woman who had just lost the father of her son.
“His funeral is next week, so she just starts to cry and forget social distancing,” one source tells Us Weekly, adding, “Harry just held her. It was very sweet, very sweet. But it was kind of raw for her.” He added: “Harry was immediate. He just threw her arms around her and held her for a long time. It was very, very touching.”
Father Boyle set up the visit with Prince Harry and Meghan Markle after the Duchess contacted him two weeks earlier. “She’s quite a deep thinker on these issues, so it was really a stimulating conversation, and then it was followed up with, ‘Hey, we want to come by,’” he recalled. “These two are the real deal. They really kind of want to make an impact so I give them a lot of credit because their hearts and their minds are, I think, in the right place.”
