British royal family news has revealed that Prince Charles and Camilla Parker Bowles have been making the most of the easing of the lockdown regulations as they have been pictured paying a visit to Cornwall this past week. It is believed that the couple will spend the next three days in the area as they visit those that have been working hard throughout the pandemic.
At least the royals had stunning weather for their visit, as Cornwall was drenched in sun while Charles and Camilla spoke to various members of the local community. It was the first of their three-day mini tour across Cornwall and Devon.
British Royal Family News: Couple Spend Time With Air Ambulance
Camilla and Charles spent an extended period of time talking with members of the air ambulance. The staff all looked relaxed and in high spirits as they spoke to the royals. However, their meeting was eventually cut short as the staff were needed on an urgent emergency.
The couple were paying a visit to the staff as they were honouring a new air ambulance that was named in honour of Camilla. After hearing that the staff were needed on an urgent matter, Camilla revealed that she hoped that the person that they were going to save was going to be okay. There had been fears that their tour of the area may have to be cancelled due to coronavirus, but the easing of measures ensured that they were able to continue with their plans.
British Royal Family News: Couple Walk Across New Bridge
While they were in the area, the couple also paid a visit to a recently opened bridge. Camilla looked very relaxed as she was pictured on the bridge sporting a pair of sunglasses. While, Charles was wearing a cream suit and posed alongside Camilla for the picture to be taken.
Camilla was also thrilled to receive a bottle of gin when she met the air ambulance crew. The duchess was pictured with the bottle after the staff had been called away on the emergency that they needed to attend. The couple will continue with their tour around the area for much of this week.
