It’s been several months since Harry and Meghan announced that they were looking to step down from their positions as senior members of the royal family. And while their announcement was quite a controversial one, with Queen Elizabeth making it known that she would have preferred to see them stay, Harry and Meghan are carving a new life out for themselves. While they were hoping to hit the ground running in L.A., the couple have been forced to hit the brakes because of the current global pandemic that is the coronavirus.

“Harry and Meghan were really excited to move to L.A.” once source close to the situation recently told Us Weekly in an interview, adding, “The timing is tricky of course, but this is something they’ve been hoping for and seriously planning for several months now.” “They’ve been looking forward to [moving], and they’re very content and happy to finally be all settled in,” the source added. “And of course, Meghan feels more at home too and she’s really starting to feel like herself again.”
Even though Harry and Meghan are at home right now because of California’s strict stay-at-home orders, they are still looking forward to kick-starting their new projects in the future. With that said, there’s a very good chance that Meghan Markle won’t be facing Queen Elizabeth and Prince William along with the rest of the royal family in the near future or ever again for that matter. While Prince Harry might be feeling homesick for his family back at home, Meghan is finally where she wants to be: in her hometown with her nearest and dearest in L.A.
