British Royal Family News find that it looks like Kate Middleton is no longer paying attention to all of the Prince Harry and Meghan Markle drama, because there are far more important things to be concerned about right now.

In fact, the Duchess of Cambridge was spotted joining a London memorial for murder victim Sarah Everard before the British capital erupted in chaos. Here’s what you need to know.

According to the New York Times, the remains of Everard, 33, a marketing executive from Brixton, were found on Wednesday in a wooded area in Kent, one week after her March 3 disappearance at 9:30 p.m.

She left a friend’s house but was killed by Officer Wayne Couzens, 48, of the Metropolitan Police Service. He was charged with kidnapping and killing the woman.

In footage captured by Sky News, Prince William’s wife was spotted at a vigil in Claphan Common in south London. She can be seen moving through the crowd and leaving flowers at the side.

One source told People Magazine that Kate Middleton, “wanted to pay her respects to Sarah and her family. She remembers what it felt like to walk around London at night.”

On Saturday, mourners had flocked to the bandstand of Clapham Common, an area where Everard was last seen, in a tribute to her life.

But they also came in an act of solidarity, as an acknowledgement of the shared, omnipresent experience of intimidation, violence and harassment that women often face in public space in the UK.

Even though organizers at first wanted to cancel the event but by the evening, peaceful mourners gathered for the socially distanced event in Clapham. Attendees chanted: “This is a vigil, we do not need your services.”
