Meghan Claimed Canadian Former First Lady Sophie Trudeau Is A “Dear Friend”
Some of the “pals” the Duchess of Sussex has boasted that she has claimed to not even really know her. Sophie Trudeau, the ex-wife of the Prime Minister of Canada, Justin Trudeau, whom Meghan claimed was a “dear friend,” denied this.
Trudeau said of Meghan Markle,
“I know her, but we haven’t spent much time together.”
Speaking about her “tight bond” with Sophie, Meghan talked about how, one day, she threw a pool party for Sophie.
“This wasn’t our day of being wives and moms…. We swam, we drank wine, we splashed in the water,” Meghan gushed. “That was the other version of us. Both with wild, curly hair and swimsuits, loose linen, and huge belly laughs. Big cuddles with our little ones and quiet whispers of girl talk on the terrace, giddy like absolute schoolgirls. We were just having so much fun.”
She also claimed that Sophie was like an anchor for her when she was pregnant, sending her meditations and words of encouragement. But Canada’s former first lady said she barely knew her.
George and Amal Clooney were another case of “we barely know her.” The power couple claimed not to know her when they attended her wedding to Prince Harry.
In the book, “Finding Freedom,” by Carolyn Durand and Omid Scobie, Meghan said that she and Harry went with the Clooneys on their vacation to Lake Como. George and Harry looked at George’s motorbike collection, and Meghan and Amal relaxed by the pool.
She also spoke of an occasion when George and Amal invited them to their British home in Sonning, Oxfordshire, and Harry and Meghan brought their dogs.
Meghan Markle Is Desperate To Become Friends with Beyonce
Meghan Markle is reportedly also desperate to become friends with Beyonce. She and Harry went to her concert last year.
The Suits alum is super jealous that Prince William snapped a photo with Taylor Swift, and she wants to have more big-name celebrity friends.
Beyonce and Jay-Z are among the most influential couples, and Meghan wants to be a part of that.
Meghan has also been trying to create a friendship with Beyonce’s sister, Solange. Meghan even had Harry reach out to Jay-Z to get involved in the rapper’s charity foundation.
Last week, Meghan was spotted having a photoshoot near Beverly Hills. She was wearing an Adidas tracksuit from Beyonce’s Ivy Park. She’s putting it out there that she’s got an “in” with the singer.
Celebrities are distancing themselves from Harry and Meghan because they know the couple are toxic and want to use people to win a popularity contest.
They trashed the royal family, and now people see they shouldn’t be trusted. Understandably, Meghan is desperate to maintain her Hollywood network and stay relevant. But what she doesn’t understand is that she “jumped the shark” a long time ago.
