None of them has any sort of connection to little Beth so it’ll beg the question for him, what could they possibly be bringing up her name for? He’ll set out to find exactly what the deal is with them concerning little Beth. If he finds out the truth, then all hell is guaranteed to break loose because he will run and tell Liam. And Liam will run and tell Hope and then it’ll be all over but the custody battle. So if the secret keepers fear Thomas, they’d better fear Wyatt about ten times more.

Flo and Xander have made their peace with the fact that it doesn’t matter how nicely anyone phrases it, or how quickly Hope gets her baby back, there’s going to be consequences and it’s going to fall directly on their shoulders. (Okay, maybe not so much Xander’s, but still.)
However, Zoe, silly Zoe, is still holding out hope that all this can be swept under the rug and no one will find out and she and her Dad can go on living their lives like nothing happened. It’s called being avoidant, Zoe, and it doesn’t help anything when it comes to legal matters.

Wyatt’s intrusion will prompt Zoe to begin covering for the mention of Beth’s name like no tomorrow. After all, its too early in the game for Wyatt to find out that his new girlfriend is a lying, cheating scam artist! (Although I doubt that’s why she covered for Flo.)
Zoe can breathe easy for the time being because like everyone else who knows about this ‘secret’ so far, One one hand, Thomas will chicken out. Part of it will be out of familiar love and loyalty to his sister, he doesn’t want to be the one to destroy her family.
But the other part all comes down to one, self-serving reason, he doesn’t want to give up on a potential future with Hope and he knows that if Hope knew Beth were alive she would be back with Liam in a heartbeat, and we just can’t have nice things here, can we? Of course not, so expect more underhanded and shady things from Thomas. What are they? Stay tuned!!!
