‘The Bold and the Beautiful’ (B&B) spoilers say that while Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) and Dr. John Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) are getting closer and closer every day, it looks like Liam Spencer’s (Scott Clifton) jealousy is also getting to him more and more by the minute, too.
Fortunately for Liam, Hope Logan (Annika Noelle) is about to put her foot down and knock some sense into him about this entire matter. Here’s what you need to know.
‘The Bold and the Beautiful’ Spoilers: This Might Be The Reason Why Liam Is Still Holding On To Steffy
Apparently, Liam isn’t jealous of Steffy and Finn’s relationship because he wants Steffy back. Instead, he’s worried about being entirely replaced by Finn in both Steffy and their daughter Kelly’s lives. Liam is worried that Finn might erase his place in Steffy’s life altogether, and that’s when Hope steps in and reminds him that he also has her in his life, too.
Speaking to Soap Opera Digest in a new interview, the handsome actor puts I this way, “With respect to Liam’s irrationality towards Finn, he finally realizes that it’s not just Steffy. It’s that Liam sees any suitor for Steffy as a potential stepdad to his daughter, and that really gets at him. It doesn’t make his behavior any more rational, but it may make it understandable in the sense that Liam would be protective of his daughter, even if he doesn’t need to be. Eventually, Hope does get through to Liam when she says, ‘You are not just being disrespectful to Steffy and her choices. You are being disrespectful to me,’ and that hits Liam right in the gut, and it makes him realize that he can’t do this anymore.’”
