Ridge is feeling very guilty for the way that he’s let his son down in the past. He even blames himself for all of Thomas Forrester’s (Matthew Atkinson) failures and for the fact that he’s a full grown man that is acting like an obsessed freak over Hope Logan (Annika Noelle). But that’s not enough for Brooke. She’s got her own family and her own interests in wanting to protect Hope, as he clearly is a raging lunatic. The fact that Ridge is in Thomas’ corner while Brooke is in Hope’s corner has definitely caused more than a little friction in their relationship.

‘Bold and the Beautiful’ spoilers tease that Ridge is going to accuse Brooke for nearly killing his son. Brooke, meanwhile, says that she didn’t mean to kill him and that she was only protecting her own daughter from a clearly dangerous and deranged Thomas. But Ridge doesn’t see it this same way. He’s heard Brooke make one comment after another while accusing Thomas of being some sort of monster and a freak who is better off behind bars.
Ridge knows that he let his son down one too many times in the past and he’s not about to let it happen again. If he has to, he will choose Thomas over Brooke. So what’s a woman like Brooke to do in a situation like this? She’ll be finding herself in the arms of another man, of course. Paging Dr. Jordan Armstrong! We’ve got a blonde in distress here.
