‘Bold and the Beautiful’ spoilers relate that Hope and Liam’s baby is gone forever but not forgotten. The world of ‘B&B’ is kicking off the new year in the saddest possible way, but that is setting for a drama-filled year in 2019.
‘Bold and the Beautiful’ Spoilers: Monday, January 9 Recap
At the clinic in the delivery room – Hope Logan (Annika Noelle) and Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) are talking together about their baby Beth that is dead. Bill Spencer (Don Diamont), Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Logan) and Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) walk in. Brooke asks about the baby.
Hope tells her that Beth is gone. She and Brooke are crying and hugging each other. Hope explains to her mother how the delivery went. She blames herself for being weak, she had one important think to do and she failed. Brooke is trying to convince her that what happened to her is a rare case and it doesn’t matter if she’s strong or weak.

Hope is crying out loud that she waited for month to see and love Beth. Why Beth? She starts screaming. The fact that she gave a name to her daughter was not a good idea. In Brooke’s opinion, that’s not true. Many people give a name to their baby, even before their pregnancy.
‘Bold and Beautiful’ Spoilers: What Happened To Hope’s Baby?
Hope is still trying to see what she did wrong but Brooke told her that she didn’t do anything wrong, it just happened. Hope says that millions of babies are born every day and they survive, but not her Beth. She is beautiful and she wanted to give her all her love, but she’ll never know. Brooke explains to Hope that maybe now she’s feeling like she will never get through this, but she will. She has so many people in her life and they all care about her.

Bill, Ridge and Liam just came in. Liam convinces Hope that she’s not alone in this situation. All the family will help them to get through that.
Hope just wants to go home. They are all holding their hands together and Lyam is talking to Beth. He is telling to Beth that she is so loved be everyone in this room and she will be in their hearts for ever.
Hope is talking to Beth also. She is very sorry that she couldn’t stay there with them. She feels her spirits and she feels like she is there in her arms. Beth it will always be a part of her. She will tell her everyday that she loves her and she will think of her everyday also.

‘Bold and the Beautiful’ Spoilers: Dr. Reese Buckingham, Put On The Spot By Liamr
At the clinic on the corridor – Lyam, Ridge and Bill are on the corridor. Lyam told them that Beth is gone. Hope did everything she could. They are all very sad and sorry. Liam doesn’t understand why Beth couldn’t make it. He’s furious and sad in the same time. He’s saying that Hope would be a very good mother, why she lost the child? It should be a meaning in all that.
Dr. Reese Buckingham (Wayne Brady) is just bringing the papers to complete to Liam. He suddenly gets very angry and asks Dr. Buckingham why his child? Everything was ok. Hope was in good shape and the baby was kicking. So how could this happen? Dr. Buckingham isn’t able to say a word. Bill asks him to clear up why Beth died?

Dr. Buckingham is telling him that the placenta detached from the womb. That means that the baby didn’t get the nutrition and oxygen that she needed. It’s very unusual and the chance that this will happen again are very slim. Dr. Buckingham tells Liam that he is a father himself and he can understand his pain. He’s terribly sorry.
