Hope and Liam are finally enjoying the life that they deserve. They are finally a family of three and for the most part have stayed away from all of the drama by keeping to themselves in the little cabin that they share. However, that’s all about to change very soon. That’s because Hope and Liam Spencer are determined to win custody of little Douglas. While Hope was married to Thomas, she shared a very special bond with the boy. In fact, Douglas was the primary reason why she even married Thomas to begin with.

With that said though, Hope and Liam might be pushing things a little too far now. Douglas has plenty of other closer relatives that could easily take care of him, including his aunt Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood). This has prompted a lot of fans to wonder if Hope and Liam are acting entitled. Sure, they suffered a lot of heartbreak this past year but they are now technically meddling in someone else’s business. At least, that’s what it is looking like from the outside in.
