‘Beyond the Gates’ (BTG) spoilers suggest that Doug McBride (Jason Graham) may soon walk in on his wife, Vanessa McBride (Lauren Buglioli), in bed with Joey Armstrong (Jon Lindstrom).
‘Beyond The Gates’ Spoilers: Doug Saw Vanessa And Joey Flirting At The Diner
About a week or two ago, Doug witnessed Joey and Vanessa in a close moment. They were blatantly flirting, and Doug walked up to their table at Orphey Gene’s diner as they were exchanging lascivious words with each other.
Vanessa coyly told Joey,
“What can I say? When I’m good, I’m great,”
And Joey devilishly said,
“And when you’re bad, you’re better?”
Vanessa quickly retorted,
“You tell me.” “Bad is definitely better,”
Joey said in a dirty manner. As the two of them were ensconced in each other’s company, Doug showed up.
Doug knows that Vanessa sleeps with other men, as the two of them had previously discussed having an open marriage.
However, Doug isn’t really interested in other women as he loves his wife. Doug, who has an avid gambling addiction, must contend with Joey constantly reminding him that he owes him money.
Joey has also threatened Doug, and while he’s definitely attracted to Vanessa, perhaps his helping himself to Doug’s wife is his way of trying to even the score.
Based on the previews, Vanessa will start a sexual relationship with Joey, who is involved with the mob. Since Doug owes Joey a boatload of cash, Vanessa could find herself in danger.
Joey insists that he’s given Doug ample time to pay his debts. He’s also made subtle hints about Vanessa to him.
Vanessa is in the dark about how much trouble Doug is in with Joey, and now it appears Joey will sleep with Vanessa, which could have ramifications not only for her marriage but also for her safety.
‘Beyond The Gates’ Spoilers: Vanessa Is In The Dark About Doug’s Gambling Addiction
Dr. Nicole Richardson (Daphnee Duplaix) warns Vanessa not to get involved with Joey as he’s not a good guy, but Vanessa refuses to listen.
Joey will continue to seduce Vanessa. We have a sneaking suspicion that Doug will find the two of them together. That is if Joey doesn’t tell Doug about them first.
If and when Doug discovers his wife in bed with Joey, he’ll no doubt turn to his gambling addiction to cope with his hurt and anger. He could lose everything.
Doug would also try to warn Vanessa away from Joey, but when has Vanessa ever not given in to her desires? She’s the type of woman who has a salacious appetite for men.
Doug could go ballistic on Joey, who would tell him it’s not a brilliant idea to come after him. We fear that Joey may even end up killing poor, stupid Doug in revenge for not ponying up the dough. Not to mention the fact that Joey wants his wife.
Vanessa doesn’t understand that Doug is suffering from a gambling addiction. The unfortunate outcome may be Joey filling Vanessa in on how much money Doug owes him and how much trouble he’s in.
We know this marriage won’t last much longer. Doug could either leave or his cheating wife, Vanessa, leaves him, or Doug could end up in a body bag.
