Laura’s constant setbacks have everyone confused, and we’re curious how Nicole will do this since she’s a psychiatrist. Maybe she has enough experience in standard medicine to pull rank?
Doug McBride (Jason Graham) really hit bottom hard by not being able to walk away from gambling. Losing the windfall lottery ticket on a horse may be enough to get him to admit he has a problem.
Though seeing Joey Armstrong (Jon Lindstrom) and Vanessa McBride (Lauren Buglioli) getting all chummy as business partners will play a huge part in that.

‘Beyond the Gates’ Spoilers are curious about this one. According to the spoilers, Nicole will be taking over Laura’s case.
This is odd since she’s not a medical doctor, so we think either she has decent time in with standard medicine to make the call, or Laura will request it.
There’s also a chance Nicole will simply dig into the notes and file on Laura to see if she can figure things out.
We think this is most likely as being an armchair anything is popular in soaps.

This is going to be a good continuation of what we saw on Wednesday, April 23’s episode.
Vanessa agreed to go into business with Joey, but she doesn’t know what he’s up to. Joey’s looking to launder money through the properties they’ll flip, and that won’t sit well with Doug.
This could be the reason Joey wants Doug in debt to him so he’ll be good and let Joey do his thing.
Between this and losing the windfall on a ill-fated horse race, we expect Doug will do some serious soul searching.
This could be the point where he’ll admit he has a problem and seeks help with it. It’ll throw a wrench into Joey’s plans, and we expect that to blow up in Doug’s face to some degree.
