‘Beyond the Gates’ spoilers reveal that last week, BTG fans were given a gift. Andre Richardson (Sean Freeman) finally chose Dani Dupree (Karla Mosely) over Ashley Morgan (Jen Jacobs).
‘Beyond the Gates’ Spoilers: Ashley Couldn’t Wait to Text Andre Minutes After She Broke Up with Derek
We were not only relieved by this development but also pleasantly surprised. For a while, it strongly appeared as though BTG was shipping the pairing of Andre and Ashley.
No one wanted them together, as there is so much fire and passion between Andre and Dani. Plus, it now seems there is so much more between them.
Ashley was furious when she found out that her firefighter fiancé, Derek Baldwin (Ben Gavin), was faking his paralysis. Instead of pure elation over the idea that her soon-to-be husband could walk, she broke up with him.
After all, Derek really did experience a very traumatic accident, and when she “caught” him standing up, she chastised him and couldn’t seem to wait to summon the newly married Andre to her place to meet for a chat.
It was literally minutes after she promised her BFF, Naomi Hamilton Hawthorne (Arielle Prepetit), that she wouldn’t interfere with Dani’s marriage to Andre when she texted him.
Ashley selfishly thought that Andre would come running back to her and they could have a real relationship. Thankfully, Andre informed Ms. Bland, as Wonder Bread, that he had fallen in love with his wife.
BTG has obviously seen the light and knows where their “bread” is buttered. The fans are crazy over Andre and Dani and have long hoped that they would realize their potential as a couple.

Plus, Ashley is too fickle to jump into a new relationship right now. Andre and Ashley shared a mutual desire for a close connection with another human being, and Andre finally realized he already has one with Dani.
Ashley goes back and forth between her sense of commitment to Derek and her attraction to Andre. Truthfully, Andre wants someone he can confide in and share a bond with.
What Andre didn’t expect was to find that with the woman with whom he got drunk with and married spontaneously in Vegas.
He felt safe enough with Dani to open up to her about his parents’ death, which was very moving. Karla Mosley and Sean Freeman showed their acting chops in that scene.
Dani created a beautiful shrine to Andre’s parents, filled with photos and personal belongings, to help keep their memory alive.
Andre also helped Dani when she was developing a nasty habit of drinking to excess over the loss of her first marriage. We all thought Dani and Andre had something special, and they have more than proven that.
Dani is a wonderful woman, and Bill Hamilton (Timon Kyle Durrett) was a fool to let her get away. Dani and Andre are growing as a couple, which is exactly what fans wanted to see.
For months, we had Andre and Ashley shoved down our throats. Their fake date to Paris was so cringe it was ridiculous.
Dani and Andre have shared many sweet moments, and what started out as a hot booty call has turned into an irresistible romance, and fans can’t wait to see more of them.
