The episode for Tuesday, September 9 looks like it’s going to be a fun one as we get to focus on new storylines with some closing out.
‘Beyond the Gates’ Spoilers Tuesday, September 9: Anita and Vernon are Concerned They’ll Face Push Back After Pushing the Limits; Naomi Doesn’t like What’s Happening with her Parents
Anita Dupree (Tamara Tunie) and Vernon Dupree (Clifton Davis) are going to worry they pushed too far to find Chelsea Hamilton (RhonniRose Mantilla).
They practically mobilized the entire city to find her, and one of the downsides is it’ll make them look very privileged for that and bending the rules.
We’re looking right at Kat Richardson (Colby Muhammad) and Jacob Hawthorne (Jibre Hordges).
Naomi Hawthorne (Arielle Prepetit) will be grateful how things worked out for her sister, but she’ll have other concerns.
We think she’s going to be wary with how close Dani Dupree (Karla Mosely) and Bill Hamilton (Timon Kyle Durrett) are getting.
She could be afraid they’re opening themselves to more drama by ripping open their old wounds.
Hayley Lawson (Marquita Goings) will be another factor as her insecurities are going to start running rampant.

‘Beyond the Gates’ Spoilers can’t blame the Duprees for using all of their resources to find and save Chelsea.
It’s what any family would do if they could, and that’s the rub.
It looks like Anita and Vernon will have some concerns at pushing the limits to find their granddaughter.
They bent the rules, as did Kat and Jacob, and with their influence and contacts chances are it’ll come back to bite them hard.
They’re supposed to be for the people, and this showed they are anything but.
Martin Richardson (Brandon Claybon) saying he wants to write a bill so others can have greater access to resources says it all.
If they go this route, they have a juicy landmine filled walk ahead of them. If done right, it could rock daytime television. If done wrong or not to their best… let’s hope that doesn’t happen.

After her brief talk with Hayley, it looks like Naomi will be even more wary to how her parents interact.
She’ll appreciate how easily they came together for Chelsea’s sake, but anything more and she knows will lead to trouble.
Dani is the one most likely to try to rekindle things as she hoped to before. And she loves to trigger Hayley, and Hayley’s already on edge due to her insecurities.
