‘Beyond the Gates’ Spoilers here and we’re ready to end he week with our final walk through Fairmont Crest and share some fun spoilery goodies.
The episode for Friday, December 19 will edge us closer to the end of one storyline and the fast start of another.
Anita Dupree (Tamara Tunie) has been keeping her health concerns to herself and it’s taken a toll on her. Everything she or others do or say reminds her of what could come.
So it’s a good thing when Tracy Tyler (Maria Howell) and Sharon Winger (Bonita Brisker) come for a visit. It’s for the holiday, but they could give Anita something she desperately needs: an outlet.
Speaking of Sharon, her ears will be burning as Leslie Thomas (Trisha Mann-Grant) will share some news about her and Vernon Dupree (Clifton Davis).
She’ll look for some brownie points with Ted Richardson (Keith D. Robinson) by telling him the great Vernon Dupree is stepping out. He’s better off without the hypocrites and so on.
Ted won’t want to believe it, and he may work to prove Leslie’s lying and playing one of her games.

‘Beyond the Gates’ Spoilers love how Anita has such an extensive support system. We also hate that she’s not utilizing it, but we understand why.
With her Articulatte sisters in town, they’ll give her an outlet she needs. We expect Sharon will say something that will trigger Anita, but it’ll only help her.
It may spur Anita into sharing her fears and the wait to find out if she’s healthy or not.
She’s been wanting to, but things keep coming up and she hasn’t gotten the courage back to tell anyone.
This will be a good scene and it’ll be nice to see how close they are.
‘Beyond the Gates’ Spoilers for Friday, December 19: Leslie’s secret
It was only a matter of time before Leslie started sharing what she saw. So far, she’s been selective and only told those she’s trying to impress or because she had no choice.
Marcel Malone (Darryl W. Handy) fits into both categories, but now she’s going to move onto Ted. She’ll hope to show him the family who judged him so hard is no better.
It’ll shatter Vernon’s image and reputation and she’ll revel in it.
We don’t think Ted will believe her. He’ll think she’s just stirring things up, but he’ll want to make sure.
He may decided to ask Vernon about it, but more likely he’ll chew on it for awhile. He’s got to be careful who he shares it with unless he wants the Duprees to know.
