‘Beyond the Gates’ Spoilers here and we’re ready for our last walk through Fairmont Crest for the week.
The episode for Friday, September 26 is going to be another emotionally heavy one as we deal with the aftermath of Doug McBride (Jason Graham)’s death.
Nicole Richardson (Daphnée Duplaix) will do what she can to comfort her bestie, but there’s not much she can do.
Vanessa McBride (Lauren Buglioli) has a lot to work through, but we expect she’ll raise red flags if and when she praises Joey Armstrong (Jon Lindstrom) for being there for her.
It won’t all be emotionally charged as Leslie Thomas (Trisha Mann-Grant)’s newfound wealth will give us a scene with her old friends.
Mona Wilson (Karan Kendrick) and Jan Morgan (Jerri Tubbs) will talk about her fortune, most likely wondering how she got so lucky and thinking she scammed it.
‘Beyond the Gates’ Spoilers for Friday, September 26: Nicole’s a rock
‘Beyond the Gates’ Spoilers love how loyal Nicole is, and she’s just what Vanessa will need after Doug’s death.
Vanessa will try to be strong, but there’s no doubt she’s going to be wrecked. She was so awesome in the scene where she found out Doug died, and we expect much of the same.
There’s a couple of ways this could go, and one is Vanessa could get Nicole wondering is she mentions Joey’s been a God send.
That could cause Nicole to start digging, and with Jacob Hawthorne (Jibre Hordges) having suspicions he has no reason to have, this is a ticking bomb.
Another is it could make Nicole rethink her relationship with Ted Richardson (Keith D. Robinson).
She’ll be horrified to think of what she’ll do if he dies, and may look to heal their marriage so they don’t lose any time.
‘Beyond the Gates’ Spoilers for Friday, September 26: Leslie’s the talk of the town
We miss seeing Leslie with her old friends, and it’s going to be fun sitting down with Mona and Jan once again.
Granted, this time won’t be very friendly as they’ll discuss Leslie’s lucky windfall. We expect plenty of disbelief how that could be.
There’s also a good chance they’ll wonder if Leslie ran a scam of some sort to get her fortune. One thing for sure, we know they’ll be on the Dupree’s side.
Leslie burned that friendship bridge when she outed her and Ted’s affair. Still, it’ll be curious to see how this plays out. Especially if Leslie tries to make peace again.
