‘Beyond the Gates’ Spoilers here and we’re ready for another fun jaunt through Fairmont Crest.
Martin Richardson (Brandon Claybon) and Smitty Smith (Mike Manning) will have to deal with an intruder.
It feels like they’re trying to hint Kenny (Jason Vendryes)’s a friend or family member are coming for them.
We think it’ll be something less dangerous. Maybe June (Jasmine Burke) will arrive to drop something off for her kids to remember her?
Meanwhile, Anita Dupree (Tamara Tunie) will have to relive some painful memories and deal with funding her current worst enemy.
We suspect Leslie Thomas (Trisha Mann-Grant) will arrive with all the evidence she has to taunt the high and mighty for funding her change in life.
We don’t see this going well, so we’re ready for a fun confrontation between the two.
‘Beyond the Gates’ Spoilers for Tuesday, August 19: Surprise visitor
‘Beyond the Gates’ Spoilers are curious what the writers have planned for Martin and Smitty.
There are several ways this can go, but we think it’ll be focused on June wanting to leave something for her kids.
We’d love to see June become an extension of their family at some point, but she may decide to leave everyone be.
That could mean that Martin and Smitty will think someone’s breaking in when she just wants to leave her picture for her kids. Or maybe something else.
This could be the last we see of her, especially after getting her hopes up and having he kids refuse her.
She may not want to cause them more pain, so she’ll leave her most treasured possession and leave or take her own life.
It feels too dark and we hope we’re wrong, but it would rip open the feels.
‘Beyond the Gates’ Spoilers for Tuesday, August 19: Leslie brings the pain
Just when Anita thought she could move forward, her past decision will drag her back down.
She’s worked hard to heal old wounds and make things right. But now that Leslie is the beneficiary of her charity to remember her fellow Articulette, things will get interesting.
Leslie never does anything half speed, and we expect she’ll bring all the proof (or copies of them) to prove she’s Barbara’s daughter.
She’ll rub it in and talk about how she’s been a huge fan all her life and it’ll push Anita to the edge.
This is going to be a deliciously dramatic scene, and we’re looking forward to seeing how well they play off each other.
