‘Beyond the Gates’ Spoilers here and we’re ready for another trip to Fairmont Crest and we’ve got some fun spoilery goodies to share.
It gives us a chance to breath, but there will be some talk of it. Joey Armstrong (Jon Lindstrom) will approach Leslie Thomas (Trisha Mann-Grant) about co-funding her clinic.
He’ll have a catch, and we have a feeling it’ll involve it being named after Doug McBride (Jason Graham) and Leslie’s a silent partner.
We’ll also get a fun moment when Shanice Johnson (Ernestine Johnson) shares some news with Ashley Morgan (Jen Jacob).
Shanice will be glowing after a great new years with Ted Richardson (Keith D. Robinson), while Ashley will have memories of a concert and running into Derek Baldwin (Ben Gavin).
‘Beyond the Gates’ Spoilers for Wednesday, January 7: Joey does it for Vanessa
‘Beyond the Gates’ Spoilers love how much Joey loves Vanessa McBride (Lauren Buglioli). It’ll be a horrible moment for the two of them when the truth of him killing Doug comes out.
But until then, he’ll be her knight in shining armor.
In this case, he’ll agree to fund the free clinic with Leslie, but he’ll have a catch. We think he’ll tell Leslie he wants it named after Doug and she becomes a silent partner.
We think he’ll want to stay silent as well, and this will cause a stir since Leslie won’t like it. She wants the attention and recognition, and it could put Vanessa in her sights.
It looks like Joey was planning for this, hence why he has Marcel Malone (Darryl W. Handy) guarding Vanessa. That’ll be fun to see play out.
‘Beyond the Gates’ Spoilers for Wednesday, January 7: Ashley’s on the outside
We love Shanice and Ted as a couple. They’re fun and cute together, and we’re looking forward to seeing how things play out for them going forward.
One of the first stops will be Shanice’s excitement will be overflowing.
Ashley may start the conversation, and Shanice will tell her about her new year’s kiss with Ted and their time together for the holidays overall.
We think since Ashley spent the holidays at a concert and trying to keep busy, this will hit her hard.
And seeing Derek didn’t help things as it reminded her of what she had. She and Derek screwed up, but she played both ends with him and Andre Richardson (Sean Freeman).
It was bound to blow up on her, and now Shanice will encourage her to keep her head up. Love can be around any corner.
