‘Beyond the Gates’ Spoilers here and we’re ready to close the week out with our last trip to Fairmont Crest.
The episode for Friday, January 2 will continue to be cancer and Anita Dupree (Tamara Tunie) centric as the news spreads through the family.
Dani Dupree (Karla Mosely) and Bill Hamilton (Timon Kyle Durrett) will arrive to comfort and offer advice to Vernon Dupree (Clifton Davis) and Anita respectively.
We have a feeling Bill will broach the topic of Anita’s will and possibly lawsuit for the doctors not finding her cancer earlier.
Kat Richardson (Colby Muhammad) will remain quiet and dismissive when Tomas Navarro (Alex Alegria) tries to find out what’s bothering her.
Depending on the timing, Ted Richardson (Keith D. Robinson) could give him some insight when he arrives and tries to convince Kat why she needs to be tested.

‘Beyond the Gates’ Spoilers thinks it’s important to get the news out about cancer and what it means to different people. The show is doing a great job for that, and they’re following the drama the diagnosis is creating.
To further that, Dani and Bill will look to comfort and help her parents. Dani is a daddy’s girl, so she’ll go to Vernon and help support him during this time.
Bill can be warm, and we think we’ll see a side of him we don’t often get to see when he talks with Anita.
He is a lawyer, and we expect he’ll ask her if everything is in order just in case. He’s pragmatic and wants to make sure everything’s taken care of.
While it doesn’t seem like it’s the right time, it’ll give Anita something to focus on. Knowing he’ll make sure everyone is taken care of will be a comfort to her.
‘Beyond the Gates’ Spoilers for Friday, January 2: Trying to reach Kat
Kat is one of those characters we love to hate, and that’s a tribute to the actress and the writers working perfectly together.
Now, we’re going to get another side of her we never see. She’s going to be open, raw, and terrified while also trying to hide it.
We don’t blame her at all.
Tomas will be concerned and try to understand what’s bothering her, but she’ll remain tight lipped.
Ted will try his hand by trying to convince her the importance of being tested. Not knowing seems like it’s keeping her safe, but it’s the worst thing she could do.
If Ted and Tomas work together, they may convince a combative Kat into seeing the doctor. Or they’ll both be left shaking their heads. It can go either way with her.
