From Kendall and Kylie Jenner to Beyonce, it seems that crooks have decided now that everyone’s forced to lock down that now would be a good time to start paying unwanted visits to celebrity homes in the form of home invasions.

Poor Kendal Jenner had two home invasions in the space of just a few hours, with one of the suspects even trying to pop on over to sister Kylie’s later. Kendall was so shaken up by these events that she decided to  vacate her home entirely and not even return to the premises!

Home Invasions on the rise among celebrities

They aren’t the only ones who have been affected, Sean Mendez and Camilla Cabello have been victimized as well, Mendez’s Mercedes G Wagon was stolen, but has since been recovered. Just last month, storage units that were filled with millions of dollars worth of Beyonce’s things were raided and stolen!

Thankfully, the units were not connected with the Stars’ home and were being rented by her production company at the time, but the thieves managed to get away with over $1M worth of merchandise, including but not limited to designer goods, and even kids toys.

The designer goods are understandable, but what sort of person steals a kid’s toy? So far, no arrests have been made in the burglaries yet.

If you think those across the pond have it any easier, they don’t. Just last August, Niall Horon formerly of One Direction had someone jump onto his balcony from a nearby property. Apparently he had gained access to the complex by following another resident inside, and from there Horan’s personal assistant found him, completely incoherent and high on drugs, they rightfully called security but the man came back the next day.

He was then arrested and is set to stand trial later on this year. Horan wasn’t home when this happened, but that doesn’t mean he wasn’t shaken up by it. Even Drake, the largely unproblematic Canadian rapper, had to deal with a female home invader last month, she went as far as to strike a security guard with a metal pipe, yike! Thankfully, no one was hurt, and its said that the woman had no communication with Drake whatsoever.

So… what’s going on, why are so many celebrity homes getting invaded? Could it be the fact that so many people are feeling the crunch of quarantine that they’ve just decided to take it out on celebrities? Or is there a crime ring that is targeting high profile people sort of like the bling ring going around? Stay tuned!!!
