Kylie Jenner has hit back at her critics who have criticised her alleged attempts at requesting donations for a makeup artist that had suffered injuries.

The person in question was Samuel Rauda. He had tragically gotten involved in a car accident which required him to undergo some medical treatment. The costs were astonishing and amounted to $120,000. Kylie, at the time, had urged fans to donate to his Gofundme page. In a post to her fans at the time, she said: “Everyone take a moment to say a prayer for Sam who got into an accident this past weekend.
“And swipe up to visit his families’ Gofundme.” Naturally, fans were outraged over this for understandable reasons. First, there begs the question as to why did Kylie not pay the medical bills herself. After all, she is hardly short of money, given the lucrative nature of her career. But not only that, if Samuel were her real friend, then she could have paid it off her herself.
This forced Kylie to respond, who sought to distance herself from Sam. In a post to her fans on Instagram, she dismissed the severity of the claims. She stated: “I feel it’s important for me to clear up this false narrative that I’ve asked fans for money and am not paying for my makeup artist’s medical bills. Sam isn’t my makeup artist, and unfortunately, we don’t have a personal relationship anymore.
“But I have worked with him a few years ago and think he’s the sweetest.” That did not stop Kylie from caring, though. She accused fans of trying to stir up trouble and detract away from the fact that Samuel needed help. However, Kylie had made some efforts to help him.
She added: “The accident compelled me to visit his Gofundme, which was set at 10K. They had already raised 6K, so I put in 5K to reach their original goal.” And she signed off her post by wishing Samuel a full recovery: “[His family] are very appreciative of all the donations, prayers and love towards Sam.”
