Princess Eugenie turns 36 today, on March 23. Eugenie is the second daughter of the former Duke and Duchess of York, Andrew Mountbatten Windsor and Sarah Ferguson.
Princess Eugenie Has Advocated for Countless Worthy Causes
She is also the sixth grandchild of the late Queen Elizabeth II. Eugenie was born on March 23, 1990, and was baptized on December 23, 1990.
Andrew and Sarah divorced when she was only six years old. When Eugenie was 12, she was diagnosed with scoliosis.
Scoliosis is a curvature of the spine, as Eugenie required surgery to prevent her back from becoming severely hunched.
The Princess underwent corrective surgery for the condition in 2002. The procedure was done at The Royal National Orthopedic Hospital.
Over the years, Eugenie has shared her story to raise awareness about the condition. She has also notably shared her surgical scar to encourage body positivity.
Eugenie is a patron of several charities, including the Scoliosis Association UK and the Teenage Cancer Trust.
In July 2015, she joined the contemporary art gallery Hauser & Wirth as an associate director and was promoted to director two years later.
In October 2018, Eugenie married Jack Brooksbank, and they share 3-year-old August and 2-year-old Ernest.
Eugenie has endured a very tough year with her family. Royal fans know that her parents, Andrew and Sarah, were deeply involved in the Jeffrey Epstein scandal and recently lost their royal titles.
The Daily Mail reported yesterday that
“Jack Brooksbank’s code of honor means that the loyal businessman will not completely desert Andrew and Sarah, but he refused to step into the line of fire himself.”
Of course, Brooksbank’s first loyalty is to his wife and children. Andrew and Fergie’s recent scandals have done nothing but draw unwanted attention to Princesses Eugenie and Beatrice.
Princesses Eugenie and Beatrice Have Been Investigated and “Tainted By Association.”
Eugenie and Beatrice were also investigated and thrown into the middle of something they never intended to be part of.
There is clearly concern that they are “tainted by association.” Not to mention, Jack’s fear that his reputation as a businessman may be damaged by Andrew and Sarah’s controversial ties with convicted sex offender, Epstein.
So, now Eugenie and Jack are
“resisting any suggestion from her mother that she should come and live with them.”
Some of Fergie’s e-mails to Epstein discovered earlier this year, revealed that Sarah talked to Epstein in detail about Eugenie’s sex life when she was 19 years old.
Plus, her correspondence also revealed that Sarah took her two daughters to visit Epstein days after his release from prison.
Beatrice and Eugenie’s father, Andrew, was also arrested on his birthday this year on suspicion of misconduct in public office.
Earlier this month, Eugenie stepped down from her role as patron of Anti-Slavery International, the world’s oldest human rights organization.
King Charles tried diligently to protect the two princesses until it was no longer possible. Their names appear several times in documents related to Jeffrey Epstein.
It’s safe to say that due to Sarah and Andrew’s endless shenanigans, Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie won’t be able to carve out their own path in the royal family.
Radar Online summed it up best:
“Beatrice and Eugenie feel like they are living in horrific limbo. They have spent years carefully building respectable private lives, yet the fallout from their parents’ controversies keeps circling back to them.”
