If he’s looking for second chances, he is certainly looking in the wrong place. There’s a new report that says Hollywood actor Armie Hammer has completed his rehab stint and while he might be looking to put the past behind him, he’s still facing shocking sex allegations. Here’s what you need to know.
According to reports, the Hollywood actor is “the main suspect in an alleged sexual assault investigation that was initiated Feb. 3 of this year,” a Los Angeles Police Department spokesperson told the press.
Armie Hammer Completes Rehab Stint, But Is Still Canceled By Hollywood
The woman, and her attorney Gloria Allred, held a press conference this week during which she claimed the now-34-year-old actor raped her on April 24, 2017, in Los Angeles, California.
“He repeatedly slapped my head against a wall bruising my face. He also committed other acts of violence against me to which I did not consent,” she alleged.
“He became increasingly more violent,” the woman, now 24, claimed. “I thought he was going to kill me. … He then left with no concern for my well-being.”
“[The woman’s] own correspondence with Mr. Hammer undermines and refutes her outrageous allegations. As recently as July 18, 2020, [the woman] sent graphic texts to Mr. Hammer telling him what she wanted him to do to her. Mr. Hammer responded making it clear that he did not want to maintain that type of relationship with her,” said Andrew Brettler of Lavely and Singer.
Prior to his stint in rehab, Armie was spending most of his time in the Cayman Islands, mostly because he’s under investigation by the LAPD for rape allegations made by a woman by the name of Effie, even though his attorney has denied all the claims made against him.
Yet, Armie has managed to find someone to spend a little time with even though he’s been all but canceled back in Hollywood.
