British Royal Family News says that a lot of people have noticed that when it comes to Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, they certainly aren’t smiling as much as they used to. As a matter of fact, a lot of critics believe that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex certainly do look more ‘angrier’ now then they did this time one year ago.
While no one knows what might be going on behind closed doors for the couple, one thing is for certain: fans are feeling the tension. Here’s what you need to know.
British Royal Family News: Are Prince Harry And Meghan Markle Looking Much More Angrier These Days?
Because of the ongoing pandemic that has been the coronavirus, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have been forced to limit their public speaking engagements to a handful of Zoom calls from inside their Motecito, Calif. mansion.
While it’s certainly not a bad place to work from home, a lot of fans have noticed that Harry and Meghan don’t look as comfortable in their videos as they did maybe just a few months before. In fact, some believe that they look more tense, or that perhaps they are trying to hide their true feelings about their current situation.
For example, body language expert Bruce Durham recently revealed that while there were some parts of Meghan Markle’s interview at the recent Fortune Most Powerful Women Summit certainly were authentic, others weren’t.
Bruce also says that the Duchess of Sussex is trying to make people believe that she is authentic, even when she’s not.
He continued, “There’s the shrug of the lips, that doesn’t indicate positive. The eye blocks kick in. Then a third thing is that she looks down. Down is not a good place, it’s negative, afraid. Then she introduces her own critique. She says she’s received criticism for being controversial in the past. She’s trying to get across that she isn’t controversial. Then she goes on to say what she’s said that’s been labelled as controversial. She says if you look at what I’ve said – and looks left so is recollecting – but then there’s a series of eye blocks and a lip shrug. This means there is not full positivity – she isn’t happy at all.”
If that weren’t enough, another body language expert also said that Prince Harry looked just as ‘unhappy’ as Meghan did in their video urging Americans to vote, which was filmed earlier in the month as well. Judi James says that the young prince certainly looked uncomfortable in the video and that he appeared to be “aware of the fall out” that his comments would cause within the royal family and with his grandmother Queen Elizabeth back at home.
She said, “Harry and Meghan appear to prefer to dress their more rebellious acts up in an appearance of friendly, down-to-earth normality, meaning it can take a while to realize what they are doing here is game-changing in terms of the royal firm.”
Judi added, “There is no apparent tension in Harry’s posture here as he sits slightly slumped beside his wife, who adopts a much more regal, elegant and high-status pose that projects confidence and a sense of control. Harry is even upstaged at one point by a large black dog wandering around the garden behind him which is another signal of projected casual normality.”
