A TikTok video went viral after three young men had told a lesbian couple and their daughter in McFarland to leave the neighbourhood.
TikTok Video Goes Viral After Young Man Tells A Lesbian Couple And Their Daughter To ‘Please Get The F**k Out’
According to reports, the incident happened in light of the LGBTQ members having had a pride flag at their house. That did not seem to go down very well with the men, who had something to say about it.
But rather than engaging in a discussion or a debate about the efficacy of LGBTQ rights, the men decided to let them know in no uncertain terms that they did not approve of this behaviour.
And so it showed, as the language that followed was very colourful indeed. In the video here, we can see the three young men approaching the house where the pride flag is clearly visible outside in the garden.
They ring the door bell and as it opens one of the men is heard saying the following: “See, I’m not from here, but would you queers please get the fuck out of my neighborhood?” Shortly after this is said, they all scarper away.
The uploader of the video, just so happens to be friends with the victim. And she was outraged by what she felt was outright homophobic behaviour.
But rather than engaging in a verbal tirade, she called on the community to do more since it could lead to her friends suffering from danger.
In response, she said: “My friends do not deserve to feel unsafe in their neighborhood because they’re fucking gay. Get over it.”
The video instantly went viral with almost a million views and counting. And the response on social media was one of shock. A large proportion of people empathised with what the woman was going through.
One person wrote: “I live about a mile away from them, my mom, my sister and my grandparents all live in town too. Your friends are more than welcome here.”
As of now, reports indicate that the three men have been charged with disorderly conduct. With that in mind, it is probably wise that they stay away from that neighbourhood moving forward.
