ABC ‘The Bachelorette’ spoilers finds that this week, the show released its teaser poster and many of the former cast members didn’t like it one bit. The poster features Clare Crawley in a mimicking scene from the Graduate poster. Rachel Lindsay, former cast member, said that she didn’t like it because she didn’t understand the whole reference.

Rachel told fans that she just wasn’t very impressed with the teaser poster. “I didn’t like it. I didn’t understand it, and I don’t think we should be questioning what the ad is and that’s what we are talking about more than we are about her and her season, ’cause I’m excited for Clare.
I’ve been a big proponent of her. I’m not sure how all of this goes down with all the rumors that are going around, but I am excited for Clare and for her to have this moment.”

The poster features Clare and a younger man’s leg. This is a recreation of the official movie poster for the 1967 film, The Graduate. It’s about a much older woman that has an affair with a young college student and he later falls in love with her daughter. The poster is making fun of Clare because she is the oldest Bachelorette in franchise history.

Her potential love interests will be 25 to 40 years old and fans are very excited for the new season! Once Rachel learned what the poster was all about, she got upset about it. “That’s the movie? Ok, I’m watching it tonight. What? Now I’m hot! I gotta call somebody. I did not realize that. OK, now I’m a little bothered.”
Clare says that her age is not a big deal to her and will help her in her snap judgements.
“I feel like a lot of people put age out there as this negative thing, but for me, it just is more years under my belt, more learning and knowing what I want, what I don’t want and what I won’t settle for. I want a man who is strong, who is willing to take off the body armor, open himself up, and be vulnerable. I think that shows some serious strength right there, so I want a man who can do that.”
Clare actually quit filming only two weeks after the show started. She fell in love with one of the suitors very quickly on. Tayshia Adams will be the replacement for her when things change later on in the season. We are in for a wild ride!
