Julia had a very tough time on the show and an even harder time finding love. When the couples began to meet, Sheridan Reed really wanted to get to know her better. Julia really liked him, but she also like Brandon Mills. Brandon was not an easy man to get the attention of though. He was really into four different women on the show and this gave Julia a lot competition on the show for love.

The feelings on the show really started to flow when the couples started to form bonds and then duets. Julia was finally getting closer and closer to Sheridan and that is when Chris Harrison comes in and tells everyone that the couples are swapping. We think that he had her in mind when he decided to do this. She did get a date with Brandon and the two of them had a very romantic and intense songwriting session and they got to perform together. This date really worked out well for the couple and they both knew then that they had started developing feelings for one another. This made things had to go back because they had to break the news to their partners.

This was hard for them to do because they knew that their partners would probably get sent home if they stuck with this. They still had duets to perform and Brandon ended up singing with Natascha and their version of “We Belong” did not impress the judges.
In the present, Julia is getting a lot of hate online from trolls, but she did want to talk to her fans about what she is doing now. She talked about how she didn’t have the easiest time on the show. “I think two things are true. I was an emotional wreck during this experience and watching it back I realized how you can see that. There’s no way to see anything other than a girl that was spiraling and not handling the situation well. I think there was a multitude of reasons for that. On top of that I was torn from the get go between two guys for very different reasons, you know. I had very different connections with both of them.”
She continued, “It’s been an emotional rollercoaster since coming home from the show and now that the show is airing, it’s an even newer, crazier roller coaster. I have forgiven people. I have reached out to Natascha. I have spoken to Brandon and I’ve forgiven him. I didn’t appreciate the way things went down with him but I wish him well. I have spoken to Sheridan and I apologized to him and Savannah. I certainly see where I screwed up royally.”
