Alaskan Bush People has become quite a popular show and the Brown family of Alaska are quite an interesting breed of people. The show began in 2014 and fans were very curious about their lifestyle. Bill Brown and Ami Brown wanted to tell their family’s story and ever since we have seen them grow and change and their family has moved all over the state.
Billy has since passed away and Ami has gone through cancer treatment. The Browns have welcomed children and said goodbye to siblings. There have been arrests and now it looks as if their fans want to know if they make as much money as they say they do.
Alaskan Bush People: How Much Do They Make?
There are always rumors about how much reality stars make. The Browns have become so popular and have a huge fan base, but this doesn’t mean that they are making the big bucks. The Discovery Channel is really cashing in on the show and this could be why fans think that they get paid so much.
Alaskan Bush People: Do The Browns Really Make $500K Each Episode?
Even though it is popular, we have seen almost all of the cast go to jail and we have seen some questionable things happen, including underage marriage. The shady behavior continues to surprise us and makes us wonder why they are still on the air.
The newest rumor about the cast members is that they make $500,000 per episode. When one reality show producer heard this, they knew that they needed to speak out about this. Then Redditors got wind of this rumor and wanted to share their opinions as well.
The producer let them know that there is no way that they make that much money per episode. Redditors felt the same way. They mentioned that if 90 Day Fiancé cast members make about $10,000 to $20,000 per episode, there is no way that the Browns make that much money.
The cast members on the show that do not appear on every episode more than likely make about $8,000 to $15,000 per episode and those who are on the show more, make about $20,000 per episode.
Perhaps if you combine all of the cast members per episode, perhaps they do make $500,00 per episode, but that is shared between all of them. With 14 seasons of the show and it looks like it is still going strong, it looks like the Browns will continue to make good money, but not at all $500,000 for each episode.
