ABC ‘General Hospital’ (GH) spoilers finds that fans have all been asking the same question lately: why are there no scenes with Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) and Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) together? Thankfully, we’ve got the reason right here! Read on for all you need to know.

If there’s one person who most definitely knows the answer, it’s actress Kirsten Storms, who has been playing Maxie Jones for the past 15 years now. In a new interview with Soap Opera Digest, the blonde beauty puts it this way, “I actually have a conspiracy theory about why Maxie and Sam scenes are so scarce these days. The last day they gave us regular scenes together, Kelly and I had a bag of cookies and for some reason, we could not keep it together. We were giggling, we couldn’t remember our lines, we were giggling some more. They kept telling us to quit it. Ever since then, we have not really worked together!”

Despite the fact that the ‘General Hospital’ writing team refuses to give these two talented actress any screen time together, they still get together as much as possible off screen. In fact, the two of them have a very close friendship!

Speaking about her friendship with Kelly, Kirsten added, “I love down the street from her and I see her frequently. Becky, Kelly and I have an ongoing group text. During the quarantine, every two or three days we are checking in on each other, we are venting to each other, we are laughing about stuff. Kelly is another person who knows my life. I feel comfortable and safe with her. I call her in a moment where I wouldn’t call anyone else because I need advice on something or whatever, and she does the same with me. She’s like a sister.”
