ABC ‘General Hospital’ (GH) spoilers reveal they just killed off Peter August (Wes Ramsey), a character who’s been making life in Port Charles interesting for certain characters for years now. We expected something like this, given the staircase opening for the past week.
However, we weren’t expecting them to go where they did with his recent partner-in-crime, Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober). However, it looks like they could be building to that as well. An interesting choice, for sure, if it happens. But who can step up to cause trouble next?
ABC ‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: The end?
We didn’t think it would come to this so soon with Peter clearly out of the game. However, Cyrus’ immediate future isn’t looking much better.
After taking Portia and Trina Robinson (Brook Kerr and Sydney Mikayla) hostage, he’s now exchanged them for Laura Webber (Genie Francis). It’s been an interesting couple of days for these characters, and we have to give Kober a lot of credit.
We’ve seen Cyrus go from a slick look and smooth words that always try to make him look more respectable than he is to a disheveled man with nothing left to hide.
The transformation is stark, and we’re loving it. The actor is particularly bringing it in the scenes with Laura. The writers and actor have created a man who is so desperate for love and acceptance, he can’t control himself anymore. His pain, anger, and resignation is obvious.
It seems clear Cyrus wants these things still, but he’s aware this is not likely to happen. In fact, ‘General Hospital’ spoilers indicate he seems to be resigning himself to going out in a blaze of glory if needed and taking the sister who rejected him with him. We obviously don’t expect Laura to get killed, although it wouldn’t be out of the question for her to be seriously hurt.
Cyrus, though? We are getting more convinced by the day this is his last stand. That does leave a hole, though. He and Peter have been the main trouble in Port Charles for a while now. If both are gone, what’s next? There are a couple of possibilities.
ABC ‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Elijah?
First, there’s Elijah Crowe (Dan White). Sure, he’s in Nixon Falls and now the subject of an investigation. But we haven’t really seen much action there in a bit, and it would be too easy for this guy to go down that fast. We believe he’s going to get himself out on a technicality.
If he does, you better believe he’ll be digging into the people who helped bring him down. Who knows, he could be the one to figure out who “Mike” (Maurice Benard) really is. And it wouldn’t be hard for him to realize Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) likely does know who he is. Which would obviously blow up their lives and bring another shock to Port Charles.
ABC ‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Unknown
Elijah clearly had a partner in his work. Actually, the conversation he had sounded more like a boss than a partner. ‘General Hospital’ spoilers indicated Cyrus might have some dealings in the real estate world, so we wondered if he might be working with the mobster. Now, we’re not so sure. We believe this is a new person who will likely be playing a part in the action soon.
ABC ‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Not-Chloe?
Of course, we’ve also got the fake Chloe Jennings (Kimberly J. Brown), who fell into a trap Maxie set. If soaps have taught anything, it’s if there’s no body found, assume the person is alive. And she was furious with Maxie. So, we could see her possibly coming back to get revenge. We’ll see.
