ABC ‘General Hospital’ (GH) Spoilers finds taht soon, along with Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) we will finally learn the name of the guy that’s trying to target Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Bernard) and family. It looks like the name of the guy heading up the attacks on Sonny is named Cyrus Renault, who will be played by Jeff Kober and it looks like he has a ton of credits besides GH under his belt. He was in NCIS: Los Angeles, Sons of Anarchy, The Walking Dead, and the now long defunct prime-time soap Falcon Crest.

Cyrus was recently transferred to Pentonville. Now, what does this mean exactly? Where did he come from? That’s one of the things that we will find out along with Jason, it seems. Why does he have a grudge against Sonny? That’s a good question. We don’t know. Did Sonny hurt someone that he cared about intentionally or were they just collateral damage? Or maybe it doesn’t have anything to do with something nefarious, maybe he just wants to compete with him for the coffee business. Yeah sure, don’t make me laugh.

As we all know, Brando Corbin (Johnny Wactor) was recently found participating in the shootout at the Corinthos Coffee Warehouse, without him it’s possible that the Corinthos Clan might be down a member. Thanks to his quick thinking, he saved Carly Corinthos’ (Laura Wright) at the expense of his own personal health. He got shot. But just how is he connected to the shootout, and why would he make his Mom believe that he’s dead all this time if he was just working for Cyrus? Unless he thought that Cyrus might target her as well.

Cyrus will extend and invitation to Sonny that he wants to meet with him. Sonny will accept the invite, only to find that Cyrus wants to form an alliance. Why this is, isn’t known yet. Maybe Cyrus feels that there is an enemy greater than he is that they could both battle together? Whatever the reason, Sonny decides to nix this idea. He works alone, he has his associates that he’s comfortable with and obviously Cyrus is not one of them. You can’t actually blame Sonny for that, I mean if someone tried to have several shootouts targeting my family I wouldn’t be eager to form an alliance with them either.
