ABC ‘General Hospital’ spoilers reveal you will be seeing a familiar face around Port Charles. Actor Philip K. Boyd will be joining the soap as Tony. He will be in the next episode following the Impeachment trial hearings and the series goes back to its regular timeslot.
Boyd you probably have seen before. He’s previously played the roles of Arthur Perkins on ‘Day of Our Lives’ and David on ‘The Young and the Restless’. He’s no stranger to soap acting and has an impressive resume in film roles as well. Viewers have probably enjoyed him most for his Lifetime roles.

Boyd has been cast as Tony. Who Tony is or his background isn’t known for sure but it seems he’s been hired by Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard). With so much going on in Port Charles, Sonny might be hiring some extra muscle.

Boyd was quick to show his excitement on social media. He took to Instagram and posted a picture himself in a tuxedo. The description only read one line, “Hello Port Charles ?”. I think it’s safe to say he’s as happy to be back in the soap world as well all are to see him!
Once ‘General Hospital’ gets back to its normal scheduling and we’re all able to watch in peace, we will be seeing more of Boyd. Hopefully, it’s not just a few episode deal and he could become more to the show. He’s a good actor all around and ‘General Hospital’ could use a man like him.
