ABC ‘General Hospital’ (GH) spoilers reveal Kirsten Storms (Maxie Jones) is back to work at GH after her surgery. But she’s not the only one who just reported to set. Let’s take a look at who else has entered Port Charles and what they have to say about it.

First, we have to send some good vibes to Storms as she returns to work. After an obviously scary experience, we’re glad to see she’s back in action. As for her character, we assume an emergency with the baby scam might be what brings her back, because we doubt Peter August is dead at this point. And that he’ll be found before Maxie’s scenes come back. So, get ready for some fun times ahead, as we’re sure Maxie wouldn’t return just yet otherwise.

So, who else is on set now? That would be Cameron Mathison. The news broke he’d be coming to GH awhile back, but ‘General Hospital’ spoilers indicate we still don’t know much. Even a recent interview gave no insight into the character he’ll portray.
We’re hoping something good is in store, but we’ll see. As for the actor, he recently sat down with Soap Opera Digest to talk about getting the role and what it means to be part of the GH team. Let’s take a look at some highlights.
ABC ‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: The interview
First off, we’ve got to admire this guy’s attitude and initiative. In the interview, he revealed he initiated this stint in PC with a phone call.
Said the actor, “Something I’ve always wanted to do was work on GENERAL HOSPITAL, and I kind of reached out to Frank Valentini, who is, of course, the executive producer over there, and I just said, ‘Listen, Frank, I’m going to have three days a week [free] and I don’t know if there’s anything, I don’t want to be presumptuous, you know I’ve always been a huge fan of yours and the show.’ ”
As one can tell, the boss was receptive to this. It seems divine timing, as the show he was working on three days a week got cancelled. As he pointed out he has more time to be on set now, we can only assume his character will play a big part in the action. Especially after reading Valentini’s response to Mathison’s call.
Meanwhile, he also shared a bit about his soap past, as well as how his wife reacted to him being on a show they both enjoy.
