ABC ‘General Hospital’ (GH) spoilers reveal Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) is a thief, but he’s apparently got some scruples left. Which is interesting, as his current take over plan for ELQ is all about getting revenge for the ruined wedding to Nina Reeves. Well, we’re guessing now there’s especially a good motive. He hasn’t got the Cassadine fortune behind him now. But interestingly enough, there’s a line he won’t cross. Here’s what you need to know.
ABC ‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: The plan
It seems this has been going on for a little while. Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) arrived with bad news a while back: someone is trying to get their hands on ELQ stock. Since then, we’ve seen Nelle Benson (Chloe Lanier) stake her own claim on Shiloh’s (Coby Ryan McLaughlin) shares and Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) sell off her own shares to get out of a Valentin-orchestrated bad record deal. The interesting part here is, he doesn’t seem to like part of what he’s doing. After he basically let a woman get sexually harassed and treated badly, and help another kidnap her son with fake documents, we figured there was nothing that was beyond him. However, we stand corrected.
ABC ‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Not that
It seems Valentin will do anything for some Quartermaine money. But he won’t do that. Okay, bad joke. The “that” is apparently having anything further to do with Nelle. The other day, we were convinced Nelle was doing to suggest a fake marriage to tip the odds in her favor at the custody hearing. She approached him, wanting to make some sort of deal. Unfortunately, we never got to find out what her purpose in approaching Valentin was. He shut her down before she could explain herself. He even got really nasty with her about what he’d helped her to do, and he seemed to take pity on Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) in the custody thing. We really weren’t expecting that out of a guy who’s been willing to kill to hang on to a fortune. So what could this mean?
ABC ‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Softening up?
We wonder if the writers are setting us up for a bit of a new Valentin. It would make sense. The guy’s lost his home, the family fortune, and technically the family name doesn’t even belong to him. Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) wants nothing to do with him, either. Not only that, she’s moving on with Jasper Jacks (Ingo Rademacher). Plus, he’s about to get involved in a custody fight with Lulu Spencer (Emme Rylan). You can safely say this guy’s hit rock bottom. We wonder if this is the first step toward him changing his ways. It wouldn’t be the first time a character reformed themselves, especially when you’ve been humbled the way Valentin has. It’s not a sure thing, but we definitely think there’s a chance.
