General Hospital spoilers for the week of May 23rd reveal there’s going to be a big focus on the visitation hearing. By the looks of the clip, things are going to get ugly and we’re here for it. Here’s what you need to know.
General Hospital spoilers: The truth
First, General Hospital spoilers reveal we’ll see Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) taking the stand. She’ll solemnly swear she’ll tell the truth, and we believe it. However, we’re not so sure what’s going to happen with others in that courtroom. For example, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) essentially said he’d take Nina’s side after the rift between him and Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell). However, some of the shots in the promo almost make it look like he’s sitting on Michael’s side of the courtroom. So, we’ll see how that all goes. Maybe Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) convinces him to keep silent for the sake of maybe repairing things between him and Michael. However, we don’t think Sonny should after what Michael said. And what he wants to do to Sonny.
General Hospital spoilers: Revelations?
Also, it looks like there could be some shocks ahead. There’s a clip of Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) looking surprised. Or upset, depending on your perspective. We wonder if that’s a clue as to how the hearing plays out, or if she learns the test results during a recess. That would be perfect timing. And would lead Carly to debate on what to do. And we don’t think there will ultimately be a lot of debate, as we just don’t see Carly being honest about the results. She’d likely justify it as “protecting” Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) from a horrible truth. And Carly would just be proving she’s learned nothing, if that turns out to be the case.
General Hospital spoilers: Outcome?
So, we don’t know for sure what the outcome of the hearing will be. However, we do believe the promo might give us a hint. General Hospital spoilers indicate Willow and Nina will have a confrontation this week. More specifically, Willow will grab Nina and tell her, “You’re not going anywhere.” So, this makes us wonder if Nina scores a victory in the courtroom. We’re pretty sure Scott Baldwin (Kin Shriner) will pull out all the stops, just as he did to save Nina from jail. And whatever trick he might pull would also explain Willow’s attitude. Here’s hoping this mess gets resolved this week and the truth about Nina and Willow comes out. Because we think a lot of people are going to deserve the crow they’re going to have to eat.
Honestly, this whole thing has shown that Michael and his allies are really not any better than they claim Nina is. For the poor kid’s sake, here’s hoping these “adults” around him grow up a bit and stop being so hypocritical and vengeful.
