General Hospital spoilers for the week of January 23rd reveal the main focus will be on Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) and her fight for survival. Despite trying to keep things quiet, the rest of the family is learning the truth. Meanwhile, it looks like Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) will have a hard time dealing with all this chaos. Here’s what you need to know.
General Hospital spoilers: Bad news?
First, General Hospital spoilers reveal Willow and Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) have been trying for a while to find a match for Willow. And now that it’s come in the most unlikely of places, you’d think they’d be able to relax a bit. Unfortunately, it looks like we could have one more hitch in this whole plan to treat Willow. In the promo, Terry Randolph (Cassandra James) comes in the room. Michael asks her, “What now?” That look on Terry’s face doesn’t appear to be one of a doctor giving great news about the donor match. It also seems this story will be playing out late into the week, so who knows when any answers will come?
General Hospital spoilers: Bad news travels fast
As for the rest of the people connected to Willow and Michael, the news of Willow’s condition will spread. We already will see Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) supporting her friend and offering hope. But now Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero) and others will learn what’s been going on. Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) in particular looks to be taking this hard.
There’s another thing that doesn’t bode well, in our opinion. There’s a clip of Nina appearing to throw something while Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) looks on. We’ll see what prompts her apparent freak out, and whether or not Sonny can talk her down. But, really, we can’t blame her for losing it a bit. This has been a lot for her to process all at once.
General Hospital spoilers: What else?
Finally, let’s take a look at what else is going down this week. Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) might be on his way out of town this week. And it wouldn’t be surprising with everything that’s been going on. The only question is, will he leave or be believed dead again?
We’ll also see Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) having to deal with the consequences of her actions, while things will take another turn at work for Dex Heller (Evan Hofer). Plus, the search for Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring) will continue.
