ABC ‘General Hospital’ (GH) spoilers tease that while it’s been in the works for quite some time now, Peter August (Wes Ramsey) is finally going to come clean to Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) about his double life. But unfortunately, there are some things he’d rather keep to himself, which might complicate the situation between them even more. Here’s what you need to know.
‘General Hospital’ co-head writer Dan O’Connor believes that Peter is more than ready to turn a new leaf in his life, so to speak. He tells Soap Opera Digest in a new interview, “Peter has come to realize that there is no shieling Maxie from the rightful suspicions that people have come to have about his character.”

And while Peter is trying to enlighten Maxie about all of the things that he’s done so far, he’s also keeping her in the dark about some very important details, too. However, Maxie is none too pleased about what he has to tell her. O’Connor continues, “Maxie, obviously, is not thrilled that Peter has kept even this much from her, but she loves him, she supports him and she is going to help him clear his name. Unfortunately, she is unaware that the truth might not be on his side!
With that said, ‘General Hospital’ spoilers indicate that Peter is going to do his best to find a scapegoat for his crimes. Luckily for him, there are plenty of people in Port Charles that fits the bill.
“Jason and Sam, to say nothing of Robert and Finn, are not going to rest until there is somebody to blame for what happened to Drew, and for attacking Andre. So it’s up to Peter to give them a ready-made culprit,” adds O’Connor.
