ABC ‘General Hospital’ (GH) spoilers indicate that Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) is taking steps to distance herself from Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart). After all, there are only so many times that a woman can be lied to before she cuts the cord on their relationship forever, right? Not only that, but it looks like there might be someone waiting in the wings for her: Jasper Jacks (Ingo Rademacher). Here’s what you need to know.
Speaking to Soap Opera Digest in a new interview, ‘General Hospital’ head co-writer Chris Van Etten admits that Valentin is still quite obsessed with Nina and even thinks there’s still a chance that they will be together and better yet, happy in the future. Little does he realize that Nina is making plans of her own and that they don’t include him.

Van Etten told the publication, “In spite of Nina leaving him at the altar and having conspired with Ava to undo him, Valentin still carries a torch for Nina. Nina, however, is taking steps to move on from Valentin. Will her steps finally have her crossing paths with Jax…and will those steps wind up with them tripping into bed with each other?”
Of course, that’s something that fans are wondering about too and better yet, want to see as well. Nina might have done a lot of things in her past too, but it’s about time she gave Valentin the boot and yes, started a brand new romance with Jax. At least, that’s what we are rooting for. Needless to say, ‘General Hospital’ fans will have to tune in to find out what will happen next!
