ABC ‘General Hospital’ (GH) spoilers reveal there’s plenty of custody drama ahead. But are we about to see some of that coming from Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros)? And how might that affect the characters in the long run, especially given the writers’ recent hints? Let’s take a look at what we know and what might be.
ABC ‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: The Setup
We know Nina had good intentions for Wiley. General Hospital spoilers reveal she only hired Nelle Benson (Chloe Lanier) to get material to use against her in court. This caused some controversy with Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright), as well as a bit of a disagreement with Jasper Jacks (Ingo Rademacher). They both worried that Nina would be drawn into Nelle’s trap again. And it honestly looked like they could have had a point.
In recent episodes, Nina actually defended Nelle at one point. She also waffled about testifying at the hearing, claiming to Nelle she hasn’t really worked with her long and can’t provide anything useful. It looked like she was seeing something in Nelle other people couldn’t, and they had a nice moment this week when Nina shared the news she decided to look for her daughter. However, things quickly took a turn.
ABC ‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Change Of Heart?
On that same day, Nina was shocked to learn Nelle married Julian Jerome (William deVry) as a counter-attack. You know, since Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) married Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen). So much so, she made a comment that sounds like she will end up coming to court after all—to speak against Nelle. We don’t think it’ll be a hateful decision, or that she thinks Nelle is an evil and irredeemable person. Actually, we think it’ll come from the motherly instincts she’s had toward Nelle recently. As well as Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) and Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms). It looks like Nina thinks Nelle has made a bad decision, and she’s worried about the well-being of both Wiley and Nelle. So, what do we think will be next?
ABC ‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Next?
While we don’t see the custody hearing ending before Thursday’s last original, we do think there might be a moment there with Nina. Teasers for the upcoming episodes indicate Nelle will have the performance of a lifetime in court. Could this be a response on the stand to Nina’s testimony? Perhaps another instance where she paints herself a victim of an unfair boss who has no real material against her?
And let’s not forget the daughter thing. ‘General Hospital’ spoilers indicate Nelle has been using that half heart charm in court as a good luck charm. If Nina happens to see that, she’ll jump on it quickly. It’s still not clear if she’s really Nina’s, or if she just got the charm from being married to Shiloh (Coby Ryan McLaughlin). However, we’re leaning toward her being Nina’s. Why would she be using it as a charm in court if it wasn’t hers? And if she did just get it from Shiloh and heard the story, shouldn’t she have “happened” to show it off before? What better way to get Nina on her side 100%? Stay tuned to see where they go…
