ABC ‘General Hospital’ (GH) spoilers indicate that Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) and Ava Jerome (Maura West) are about to get into a heated fight. That’s because Nikolas is forced to choose between his son and his family fortune and unfortunately for him, Ava is not making things any easier. Here’s what you need to know.
Actor Marcus Coloma, who plays Nikolas on the hit ABC soap, says that it’s not all about the money for his character. But at the same time, it’s not easy for Nikolas to choose his son over the Cassadine fortune, knowing that it’s going to fall into the hands of Ava – who he believes is the last person who should have it.

He tells Soaps in Depth in a new interview, ‘The Cassadine wealth, it’s very old money. His entire upbringing, there was so much value placed on this empire. It’s almost like it’s an extension of his body. I think when you are raised in that, and it’s your bloodline, it feels like it’s essential. There’s definitely a certain lifestyle that Nikolas is accustomed to, but so is Spencer! But it’s not just money, it’s an entire way of life, it’s his culture, his world, and he wants to give it to his son.”
Marcus adds, “It’s a source of his identity, a part of who he is, and to be the guy who lost it all to a girl would be humiliating. He’s going to keep fighting to get it all. Nikolas wants the fortune and his son.”
Needless to say, it’s going to be an uphill battle for him because there’s no way that Ava will allow something like the Cassadine fortune slip away from his fingers. Of course, ‘General Hospital’ fans will have to tune in to find out what happens next!
