ABC ‘General Hospital’ (GH) spoilers indicate that GH is known for lots of drama and crazy twists. The baby swap. Dawn of Day. Weather machines. We vaguely remember seeing something involving aliens way back in the ‘80s/early ‘90s. But there’s also some genuinely funny moments. Let’s share a few of our favorites from the day.
ABC ‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Double burn!
First of all, let’s talk about the scene between Nelle Benson (Chloe Lanier) and Julian Jerome (William deVry). She intended to get some support around the custody hearing. Nelle’s gonna need it right now. Her lawyer gave her a big dose of reality, and Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) isn’t exactly falling all over herself to testify. At first, it seemed insane for her to go to him, all things considered. And he gave her pretty much the response we expected.
Ouch! That one must’ve hurt. But General Hospital spoilers indicate sometimes the “it’s funny ‘cause it’s true” principle is real. This made us laugh out loud. And that’s something that’s hard to come by these days, when you think about most of the story lines going on. Then, there was this gem…
Again, the truth is real here. And we loved it, even if we think Julian’s not exactly an angel himself. If Nelle gets him on her side in this case, we’ll be shocked. He has to still be holding a grudge about the whole Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Bernard) connection hidden from him. Plus, how would he explain any of this to Lucas Jones (Ryan Carnes)? Right now, there’s really nothing tying him to this. If he were to side with Nelle at all, he’d lose big.
ABC ‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Loyalty counts
Our next favorite moment has to do with Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) and Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard). If you remember, the last time we saw these two, he’d just arrested Brook Lynn (again) after punching someone (again). Only this time, she’d torn up his citation and all but threw it in his face. Yes, he was slightly petty to write the citation to start with. But Brook Lynn asked for this by tearing it up. That led us to another great moment. Brook Lynn found herself in need of a second phone call after Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) apparently couldn’t be bothered.
Chase: You know you only get one. Just like last time, and the time before that. Brooke Lynn: Too bad there’s not a loyalty program. Maybe I could use my bonus call. Gotta love a person who can keep their sense of humor in a bad situation. We’re still convinced this is a romance in the works, so stay tuned. But the best moment, we’ve saved for last.
ABC ‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Coaching
We all know the big custody hearing is upon us. And Diane Miller (Carolyn Hennesy) was busy preparing Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) and Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) for the big day. This involved making them each repeat after her, “I will not let Nelle bait me.” Then, she followed it up by singling out Willow as one who tends to lose her cool in court. It cracked us up, because we could actually picture her making them write this out a bunch of times as well.
