ABC ‘General Hospital’ (GH) spoilers reveal Ava Jerome (Maura West) and Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) have a mess of a marriage. They’re both in this for ulterior motives, although it does look like Ava is a bit vulnerable to falling in love for real. Let’s take a look at the latest drama surrounding them and what we would love seeing.

Just in case you missed some episodes, ‘General Hospital’ spoilers reveal Ava blackmailed Nikolas into marrying her to get revenge. She was furious he used her daughter’s death to make her think she was losing it.
However, this has led to a tense home life that Ava doesn’t seem to enjoy. She’s even admitted how lonely she is to Franco Baldwin (Roger Howarth) recently. Plus, she thinks this whole queen of the manor thing isn’t as fun as she imagined.
However, she seems reluctant to just give up all the money waiting for her at the end of this marital abyss. She and Nikolas might both be out of luck.
ABC ‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Stalemate?
One of the big things in the post-nup is neither one can cheat. If they do, they lose big. Ava gets nothing, while Nikolas would only have 10% of his fortune left. That’s been a big topic recently, and we think there’s a good reason for that.
In recent episodes, Ava and Nikolas confided in others. Like we mentioned before, Ava talked to Franco. Meanwhile, ‘General Hospital’ spoilers indicate Nikolas was pouring his heart out to Elizabeth Webber (Rebecca Herbst).
She’s struggling with a lot of insecurity over Franco’s return to the art world. In particular, she doesn’t like Ava’s use of his past as a marketing tool.
Obviously, this created a lot of tension and Elizabeth is frustrated. She even admitted to feeling Franco’s almost become a different person. Both of them ended up in compromising positions, with each one getting photographed in the act.
ABC ‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: What we want
We have a feeling each one hired private investigators to get what they need to escape this nightmare of a union. We’d love it if their investigators each caught evidence of wrongdoing, leaving neither with an advantage. They might end up having to split the money at this point.
Even better, we’d love it if they actually unknowingly hired the same investigator. One who is very thorough and has eyes on them both. Who might even want to use that to get more of a payday than he should.
We think it’d be hilarious karma for them both, and could be a great way to settle the tensions between them once and for all. What’s more uniting than a common enemy, after all? And it could lead to a real connection.
