ABC ‘General Hospital’ (GH) spoilers indicate Peter August (Wes Ramsey) has pushed things way too far. We’ve been waiting for a long time to see this guy get his. And, to an extent, he did. Let’s talk about what happened and why Kirsten Storms wins the week so far.
ABC ‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: The situation
So, ‘General Hospital’ spoilers reveal Maxie Jones (Storms) has had it rough. She found out her man isn’t a good person—at their wedding. She was then forced to play along with him for a while to buy time before he ended up kidnapping her by hiring a fake nurse.
Now, she’s been without her baby. Every day, she fears the truth will come out, and it’s got to hurt. But seeing Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) destroyed by the new twist that Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) is supposedly Bailey’s father was the last straw. While Maxie hasn’t told the truth, she did realize her fear of Peter and the measures she’s taken have done too much damage.
ABC ‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Killing it
So, ‘General Hospital’ spoilers indicate Maxie decided confronting Peter was the only way to release herself from the fear she carries. That led to an amazing moment on Tuesday’s episode. And we’re not sure anyone (except maybe Stuart, who has also killed it lately) can top her.
The confrontation scene was great. Storms was on top of her game as she accused Peter of being the reason she can’t be a mother to her child and missing all the moments that are so special at that age. The pain and fury in her voice was obvious, and it had us on the edge of our seats.
It was even better when Peter started going on about her and Austin Gatlin-Holt (Roger Howarth). When she said to herself, “I can’t believe this is happening,” you felt the frustration and disbelief.
But then she switched gears in an instant as she yelled at him for thinking her romantic situation was any of his business anymore. And watching her tell him to rot in Hell before leaving the room was a perfect end. We can’t wait to see what happens next with her.
ABC ‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: What might come
As for the future, we see Maxie having a long, hard road ahead. Once Peter is finally dealt with and the truth about Bailey is out, we think she might have some problems of her own. Her family was also misled and thought that baby was kidnapped and maybe in danger. They’ll forgive it and understand, sure, but we do think there will be some hurt there as well.
And it will be tough, we’re sure, for Maxie as she tries to raise that baby herself. Bailey has already bonded with Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) and the Quartermaine family. We think that baby might not take so well to being ripped from that home and sent to live with someone who is a virtual stranger.
